Meet Melissa!

Hello and thanks for reading my bio! I received my Master’s degree from Fordham University.   I have been working in the field of clinical social work since 2001 and have experience in a variety of settings.  I hope I can provide you with a safe, nurturing space to help you address whatever you are going through. I  have treated adults who have dealt with a range of issues, i.e. anxiety, addiction, trauma, relationship and career instability, bereavement and more. I’ve also worked with couples who want to improve communication and their overall relatedness. I’m warm, empathic and non judgmental. I look forward to hearing from you!

Meet Cateryna!

I am a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist in New York State and a Board Certified Dance/Movement Therapist. I have worked in the mental health field for five years, with experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings. My perspective is grounded in the belief that our bodies come with us through our whole lives and have stories to tell. Working with movement may involve non-verbal expression (such as dance and movement experiences), or simply bringing awareness to how the body shows up while sharing verbally. I also utilize traditional therapeutic approaches, including CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness-based interventions, and integrate them through my unique lens as a Creative Arts Therapist. No dance experience or training is needed—just curiosity about a creative approach. I specialize in trauma-informed care, emphasizing a humanistic therapeutic alliance and attending to what emerges in the present moment. Despite the constant connection we experience throug

Meet Epiphany!

My name is Epiphany Adams, and I am a Licensed Master Social Worker providing individual therapy for those 6 and older and couples therapy to adults ages 18 and older. My work is grounded in a trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and strengths-based approach, with a focus on creating a space that feels safe, affirming, and collaborative. I specialize in complex trauma, relationship and attachment concerns, LGBTQ+ identity exploration, anger management, anxiety, and personality disorders. I am trained in EMDR and TF-CBT with additional clinical training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Play Therapy, and Narrative Therapy for couples. My clinical style is integrative and flexible, recognizing that coping strategies developed for survival may no longer serve clients in their current lives. Together, we work to build self-compassion, deepen emotional insight, improve relational patterns, and transform painful experiences into sources of resilience and empowerment.

I believe clients are the experts of their own lived experiences, and I approach each therapeutic relationship with curiosity, humility, and respect. I value bringing warmth, humor, and creativity into the therapy room when appropriate. Outside of my clinical work, I enjoy reading and writing, engaging with anime and manga (my top three are Demon Slayer, Mashle: Magic and Muscles, and Saiki K), and exploring gaming and gaming communities—interests that often help me connect with clients around identity, storytelling, meaning-making, and play. It is a privilege to walk alongside clients as they pursue healing, growth, and reconnection with themselves.
