I have worked in the mental health field for five years, with experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings. My perspective is grounded in the belief that our bodies come with us through our whole lives and have stories to tell.  


Working with movement may involve non-verbal expression (such as dance and movement experiences), or simply bringing awareness to how the body shows up while sharing verbally. I also utilize traditional therapeutic approaches, including CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness-based interventions, and integrate them through my unique lens as a Creative Arts Therapist. 


No dance experience or training is needed—just curiosity about a creative approach.  I specialize in trauma-informed care, emphasizing a humanistic therapeutic alliance and attending to what emerges in the present moment.
